MONDAY, May 6
6:00 p.m. – Dinner Meeting with the Southern Ute Tribal Council
The Board will meet with the Southern Ute Tribal Council to discuss items of mutual interest. The meeting will take place at the DoubleTree Hotel in Durango, 501 Camino Del Rio.
TUESDAY, May 7
There are no public meetings scheduled for this day.
WEDNESDAY, May 8
8:30 a.m. – Board Discussion Time

THURSDAY, May 9
7:30 a.m. – Commissioner Salka to host “Coffee with the Commissioner”
Commissioner Matt Salka will hold community office hours in Durango from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for members of the public to discuss county issues of interest or concern. County residents are welcome to stop by Durango Joes at 40 Town Plaza for an informal chat or call 970-382-6219 to schedule a phone call appointment with Commissioner Salka.
10:30 a.m. – Grandview Interchange Celebration
Board members will attend the Colorado Department of Transportation’s event to celebrate the connection of the US 550 with US 160 at the Grandview Interchange. The highway realignment will open to the traveling public the week of May 13.
3:00 p.m. – Colorado Natural Resources Damages Trustees Meeting
Board members will attend the discussion hosted by the Colorado Natural Resources Trustees about timely conservation, restoration, and environmental priorities for southwestern Colorado. The event will be held at the Durango Public Library, 1900 E. 3rd Avenue.
FRIDAY, May 10
1:00 p.m. – US Fish and Wildlife Service Fish Passage Project
Board members will visit Cherry Creek at County Road 113 to review
a proposed project with the Colorado Division of Natural Resources and the Fish and Wildlife Service.
